CHICAGO, IL - A collision involving an ambulance in West Town on Tuesday night left one person injured, according to CBS News.
Investigators say a vehicle ran the red light at West Chicago Avenue and North Noble Street at about 11:30 p.m. and broadsided the ambulance.
Paramedics in the ambulance jumped into action, quickly extricating the driver of the striking vehicle.
The unidentified woman was transported to Northwestern Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Additionally, one of the paramedics involved sustained a broken collarbone.
