COOK COUNTY, IL -- Three people were hospitalized early Monday after a single-vehicle accident off Interstate 290 in Chicago's Tri-Taylor area, reports FOX 32 Chicago.
The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-290 at Western Avenue. Illinois State Police arrived on the scene at around 1:36 a.m.
While it is unclear what led up to the wreck, officials said a vehicle traveled off the roadway and crashed into an embankment.
First responders transported the driver and two passengers to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other details have been disclosed at this time, but an investigation remains in progress.
