CHICAGO, IL -- Three women were hospitalized with critical injuries Tuesday night after a two-vehicle wreck in Chicago's River North neighborhood, reports ABC7 Chicago.
The accident was reported at the intersection of North Orleans Street and West Ontario Street, near the onramp to Kennedy Expressway. Chicago Fire Department crews were dispatched to the area at around 8:45 p.m.
Officials have not specified the sequence of events leading up to the collision, but three women suffered serious injuries.
First responders transported a 59-year-old woman to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, while the two other women, ages 84 and 81, were taken to Stroger Hospital. All patients were listed in critical condition.
An investigation was underway.
