CHICAGO, IL -- Authorities were dispatched to a crash Friday morning on Interstate 57 on Chicago's South Side, according to TTWN Chicago.
The accident impacted the inbound lanes of I-57 approaching West 107th Street, in the city's Fernwood neighborhood. It was first reported by TTWN at 11:20 a.m.
Very few details have been released, but the two right northbound lanes were closed in the immediate aftermath. At the time of the initial report, traffic in the area had backed up to 123rd Street.
